Pre-Etiquette Manners: Ages 3 to 5

Pre-Etiquette is an ideal introductory level active and fun-filled course covering the foundation of good manners. Classes are interactive with stories and activities to promote compassion, friendships and consideration for others, thereby making your children’s lives easier as they make the transition to kindergarten eventually.

Lessons include:

  • Compassion and kindness
  • Meeting and greeting
  • Sharing and eye contact
  • The Magic Words: Please, Thank you and I’m Sorry
  • Party and playdate manners
  • Table manners and correct use of utensils

Time: 3:15pm to 4pm (Saturdays)

Cost: $195

  • Session 1: 2/24, 3/3, 3/10 and 3/17
  • Session 2: 4/7, 4/14, 4/21 and 4/28

The Polished Child: Ages 5 to 9 (Sundays)

Since etiquette doesn’t change depending on age, children can begin learning about proper manners very early on. As they grow, they build upon what they have already learned, thereby increasing their self-confidence in social interactions. Through interactive games and role-playing, kids learn amongst their peers the importance of good behavior, confident body language, proper handshake, and much more. The class concludes with an in class “lunch party” where their dining skills are put to the test.

This etiquette classes place an emphasis on:

  • Introductions and handshakes
  • Greetings & first impressions
  • Compassion and kindness
  • Respect for self & others
  • Confidence & self-esteem
  • How to write thank you notes
  • Dining and table manners
  • Social media and phone etiquette
  • Sportsmanship

Time: 1pm to 2pm

Poised Tweens: Ages 10 to 14 (Sundays)

A foundation of good manners is integral to the development of good leadership skills in young people, not only for today but for the future. These social skills need to be cultivated at a young age and reinforced throughout young adulthood. Respecting and valuing others is a key factor in growing up to be a confident and poised adult, especially during a time when fitting in is very important to them. Our classes are geared to improve their attitude and self-confidence- and they have fun doing it! The class concludes with an in class “lunch party” where their dining skills are put to the test.

  • Social media and phone etiquette
  • Cell phone and E-Mail etiquette
  • Conversation and listening skills
  • Invitations and thank you notes
  • Overnight guest
  • Posture & grooming
  • Respect for self & others
  • Table & dining manners
  • Protocols of public places
  • Peer pressure & bullying
  • Sportsmanship

Time: 2:30pm to 3:30pm
