The Polished Child: Ages 5 to 9

Since etiquette doesn’t change depending on age, children can begin learning about proper manners very early on. As they grow, they build upon what they have already learned, thereby increasing their self-confidence in social interactions. Through interactive games and role-playing, kids learn amongst their peers the importance of kindness, good behavior, confident body language, proper handshake, and much more. The class concludes with an in class “lunch party” where their dining skills are put to the test.

This etiquette class places an emphasis on:

  • Meetings, greetings and first impressions
  • Friendships, compassion and kindness
  • Respect for self and others
  • Confidence, self-image and self-esteem
  • The protocol of public places
  • Peer pressure and bullying
  • Dining and table manners
  • Social media and phone etiquette
  • Sportsmanship and team building

Time: 1:00pm to 2:30pm

Price: $99 (2 consecutive classes), $195 (4 classes)

The Poised Tweens: Ages 10 to 14

A foundation of good manners is integral to the development of good leadership skills in young people, not only for today but for the future. These social skills need to be cultivated at a young age and reinforced throughout young adulthood. Respecting and valuing others is a key factor in growing up to be a confident and poised adult, especially during a time when fitting in is very important to children. The class concludes with an in class “lunch party” where their dining skills are put to the test.

This etiquette classes place an emphasis on:

  • Social media and phone etiquette
  • Conversation and listening skills
  • Invitations and thank you notes
  • How to host and/or be a guest
  • Respect for self and others
  • Confidence, self-image and self-esteem
  • The protocol of public places
  • Peer pressure and bullying
  • Dining and table manners
  • Sportsmanship and team building

Time: 2:30pm to 4:00pm

Price: $99 (2 consecutive classes), $195 (4 classes)

Kids Event Out: Ages 5 to 10

Children can get away for a night of fun and excitement, while parents run errands, go to the gym, attend yoga class, or enjoy a quiet meal on select Fridays and Saturdays. This supervised event includes a lunch or dinner (depending on selected time), movies and fun activities. Program is offered from 10am to 1pm or 4pm to 7pm on select Fridays and Saturdays. Hours may be extended to either 3pm or 9pm for an additional $20 per hour, per child for parents who need a bit more time out and about. Advance registration is requested. Cancellations must be received within four hours of the program start time or full charges will be applied to the guest account.

Cost: $49 per event

  • 4:00pm to 7:00pm

  • Friday Nov. 16, 30, Dec. 7 (4pm to 7pm)
